Time for an update on my writing progress! Shadowed is with endorsers, Surrendered is underway, and the next proposal for the Heart of the Lion series is finished (as of today). Which means…it is almost time for the ACFW conference! This is the first year I will be attending as a published author. I love meeting other writers and can’t wait to build new relationships in just a couple of weeks. To help that process along, I am linking up with other authors for a pre-conference mix and mingle. If you are a reader, you might enjoy these answers, too. 🙂
Name: Kariss Lynch
Location: Dallas, TX
What you write/tagline/trademark:Â Contemporary Romance / Dreams. Adventure. Hope
Place in the book world: First time published author of Shaken represented by Sarah Joy Freese of WordServe Literary. Currently I am finishing up the third book in the Heart of a Warrior series while finalizing the second book, Shadowed, which releases March 3, 2015 from Realms!
On a scale of hugger to 10-foot-pole, please rate your personal space: Hugger but then give me a little bit of space until I talk to you a bit.
The unique talking point that will get you going for hours: Books, movies, young adults, and Texas. All things Texas.
Loved ones at home you’ll be missing: I’m not married and I don’t have kids, so I’m excited for the time away!
Conference goals we can pray for? That I build relationships with other writers and that my next series finds a home!
Anything we can celebrate with you? Shaken is out and will be in the conference bookstore! That’s how I find great new authors last year, and I’m hoping others will love my book, too.
One or two ways we can help you build your platform? Yes! You can like my author page on Facebook and read Shaken and share with your friends! Don’t forget to leave a review on Amazon! Oh, and don’t forget to pre-order Shadowed and tell your friends!
